Well hello there! I'm Amy Heycock, a professional photographer and generally upbeat girl about London. I specialise in photographing food, interiors, portraits and music events.
My journey to your screen began at 16 when I started shooting gigs and anything I could point my lens at in my hometown of Brisbane, Australia. In 2021 I ventured across the seas and spent a year in New York City, "the city that never sleeps" (particularly true for me with my 3 internships at Interview Magazine, Alexi Lubomirski Studio and Island Def Jam Records where I assisted the Creative Director and Head of Photography). After being shipped back to Australia I worked as a photo editor for Bauer Media and Medium Rare Content. At the same time, I got my double Bachelor in Fine Arts Majoring in Photography and Bachelor in Arts Majoring in Media, Culture and Technology at the University of New South Wales. I did very well in my studies and everyone was very impressed with my bravery and ability to survive solely on Thai food and coffee. I also worked shooting for Broadsheet and Delicious Magazine Australia during my studies.

Upon graduating I ended up in Leeds, UK. I had two glorious years there working with many local restaurants and businesses such as Chapter81 and North Brew. In 2021 I moved to Liverpool, the scousers accepted me as one of their own and I enjoyed working with Culture Liverpool and Liverpool City Council. All whilst building up my clients in London like Red Bull whose Dance and Music events I have been shooting since 2018. I finally made the move down to London in 2022, to the sounds of the Northerners' tears.
